Lillian Sweezy, 94, passed away peacefully on May 5, 2026, in St. Augustine, Florida. Born on April 15, 1932, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, she lived a long and fulfilling life devoted to her family, faith, and community.

Lillian was a woman of deep faith and an active member of the Catholic Church throughout her life. She cherished her involvement in various parishes and found great joy in singing as part of the choir at Mother Elizabeth Ann Seton. One of the most treasured moments of her life was the opportunity to sing at the Vatican in Rome—a memory she held dear.

She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Edward; her daughter, Donna; her son, Kenneth; and her grandson, Ryan. Lillian is survived by her loving children: Michael and his wife Kathleen Sweezy; Christopher and his wife Amy Sweezy; and Karen and her husband Steven Gunther. She also leaves behind seven cherished grandchildren—Colleen, Kate, Taylor, Connor, Kyle, Claire, and Meghan—and four adored great-grandchildren: Emily, Matt, Jacob, and Kara Grace.

Lillian will be remembered as a warm, loving, and caring mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who brought light into the lives of all who knew her. Her legacy of love and devotion will continue to inspire those she leaves behind.

May Lillian's memory bring comfort to all who knew her. A Funeral Mass will be held on May 23, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Mother Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 4600 Bell Terre Pkwy, Palm Coast, FL 32164. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Muscular Dystrophy Association of America.
