LOIS DALMARES, died on Sunday, April 17, 2016, after recent problems with her heart.  She was born to Verna and Forest Riedle on July 29, 1943, in Shobonier, Illinois.   She was a devoted mother, grandmother, and wife, who spent much of her life volunteering at school and participating in activities that involved her children.   In recent years, her focus became her two beautiful grandchildren.   Lois was an avid golfer, and member of the Sawgrass Country Club.   She was a devoted Christian and member of St. John the Divine Greek Orthodox Church.  She is survived by her husband, Pete; her daughter, Connie; her son, Jim and his wife, LeAngela; and two grandchildren, Sophia and Peter.   There will be a visitation and Trisagion service at St. John the Divine on Thursday, April 21, from 4:00-6:00 pm.   Funeral services will be at 10:00 am on Friday, April 22, at St. John the Devine, followed by interment at Ponte Vedra Valley.  The family will receive friends at 1:00 pm at Sawgrass Country Club.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions for the purpose of Cardiology/Heart Research at Mayo Clinic in Florida be sent to: Mayo Clinic, Department of Development, 4500 San Pablo Road, Jacksonville, Florida, 32224, with a note that the gift is in memory of Mrs. Lois M. Dalmares.
