LOUSIE MARION MORRIS DAVIS (Age 87), of Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida, passed away Monday, August 22, 2022, at Cypress Village Nursing Home in Jacksonville, Florida. She was born on November 7, 1934, in the District of Columbia, daughter of the late James Jack Lewis and Rowena Pearl (Wyatt) Morris.

She was a 1952 graduate of Montgomery Blair High School in Silver Spring, MD and married Elmer Frederick Davis, Jr. (divorced) later that year. Louise spent much of her professional career as the office manager for the City of Coral Springs, Florida, Building Permit Department. She was an avid tennis player, card enthusiast and good friend especially to her high school girlfriends known as the “Blair Babes.”  

In addition to her parents, Louise is predeceased in death by her four sisters, June Bernice, Dorothy Ann, Baby Morris, and Betty Louise. She is survived by her three daughters, Laura Jean Davis DiCarlo, and her husband, Christopher David DiCarlo of Great Falls, VA, Linda Louise Davis Coley of Ponte Vedra Beach, FL, and her ex-husband, William Alexander Coley, and Lorraine Marie Davis Miller and her husband, Ralph George Miller, of Nashville, TN; five grandsons, Christopher Maglio, Ralph Alexander Miller, II, Specialist William Alexander Coley, Jr., George Davis Miller, and Andrew Lloyd Miller; and one great-grandson Benjamin Maglio.  

Visitation will be 3:00pm – 4:30pm on Thursday, September 1st at Ponte Vedra Valley Funeral Home, 4750 Palm Valley Road, Ponte Vedra Beach, FL  32082, and she will be interned at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Washington, DC.
