Luca Gabriel Eberhard, precious baby boy of Zac and Stephanie (Malcolm) Eberhard, was born into the arms of angels on December 2, 2016 at Baptist South Hospital. Born at 31 weeks, he weighed 1 lb. 13 oz. and was 13.5 inches long. Luca was very loved and touched the lives of many around him. Our little angel will never be forgotten.
He was preceded in death by his Paternal Uncle, Joshua Eberhard; Maternal Great Grandfather, Frank Clark; Maternal Great Grandmother, Loeta Malcolm; Paternal Great Grandparents, Ova and Margaret Eberhard.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by Maternal Grandparents, Michael and Jan Malcolm; Paternal Grandparents, Dennis and Andrea Eberhard; Great Grandparents, Julie Clark, Pasquale and Amalia Contrado, Fumiko and Frank Reed, and T.R. Malcolm; Aunts and Uncles, Courtney Malcolm and Jim and Rebekah Barnes; Cousins, Isabella, Logan, and Maddox, and several Great Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins.
Services will be held on Thursday, December 15, 2016 at St. Joseph's Historic Catholic Church in Mandarin at 11 am. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations to be made in Luca's name to Community PedsCare at https://support.communityhospice.com/donate.
Zac and Stephanie would like to thank Drs. Austin, Desmarais, and Villano, nurses Lisa and Brooke, and PEDS care staff Amanda, Danielle, and Valerie for all of their compassion and support.
