BUTLER Marcia Butler, 61, passed away April 27, 2014. She was born to Larry and Roberta Patton on October 6, 1952 in San Diego, CA. After graduating from Grossmont High School in San Diego, she attended two years at the University of Redlands before graduating with an Art History Degree from the University of California, Santa Barbara. Marcia held several positions in the book industry before joining R.R. Donnelley & Sons Company in 1976 as a book sales representative. She married Jerry Butler in 1985 and lived in Chicago and Connecticut before retiring to Ponte Vedra Beach, FL, in 1995. Marcia was very involved in the community activities throughout her life, including serving as the President of the Sawgrass Woman's Club. She is preceded in death by her parents. Marcia is survived by her loving husband, Jerry, and two step-children, Michael Butler and Tracy Smith. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
