No words can express how much I love you and how much I miss you.  I treasure every memory we made together and your spirit will guide me through this life.  Although you are gone, I see you every day in Carla’s eyes. I’m grateful to God that I had you as a mother-in-law. Te Quiero Mucho.

Eddie

From granddaughter:

To my loving Grandma,

Who showed strength and persistence in her years. Even though my relationship with Grandma was limited due to the fact, I couldn’t communicate with her without help, I knew she was so loving and kind from the way she carried herself and showed by actions. She was very special to have as a Grandma and in this family.

Soraya

From granddaughter:

I remember as a little girl, Grandma would hum a little song to Soraya and I that truly made me feel so calm and just be in the moment with her. She had such a presence to her that was so peaceful

Serena

From her sister:

Tu fuistes, para mi, una hermana maravillosa. Como una Madre.

Te quiero mucho,

Lidia

From niece:

I will forever cherish the time I spent with my aunt. She was more than just my aunt—she was like a mother to me. She was my confidant, my second mom, and the person I turned to when I needed guidance, love, and wisdom. Her words always carried comfort, her actions showed unwavering care, and her heart led by example.

She had the most beautiful, contagious smile that could light up any room, the softest, most tender touch, and hugs that made the world feel safe. She was my role model in every way, a true example of strength and kindness.

I will miss her deeply, but I find peace in knowing she is reunited with my mom and Mami Carmen, watching over me with love. Though she is no longer here, I know she will always be by my side, in every memory, every smile, and every quiet moment. I will carry her love with me forever.

Kiara
