Maria "Marisa" L. Stefani, 98, of Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida, passed away peacefully at her home on September 18, 2017.  

She was born in Genova-Cornigliano, Italy, on March 31, 1919, to Pio and Luigia Marabini.

Marisa was married to Mireno Stefani, and they left their beloved Italy on April 27, 1957, to live in the United States.  Marisa devoted her life to her family, and she and Mireno raised three wonderful children:  Gabri, Elaine Jasmine and Sarah Denise.  She embodied grace, understanding and was always there for her family; her death has left a gaping hole in the hearts and souls of her loved ones.

Marisa was preceded in death by her husband, Mireno; son, Gabri; and only sister, Carla.  She is survived by two loving daughters, Elaine Jasmine and Sarah Denise; along with two very special companions, her bulldogs, Abigail and Maggie.   

A private family service and entombment will be held at Ponte Vedra Valley with Father Ed Shaner Officiating.
