Mario Patel, a respected hospitality and business entrepreneur from San Diego, California, and a resident of St. Augustine, Florida, passed away at the age of 56. He is survived by his loving wife, Ericka Patel; and three children, Ricky, Dereck, and Baijanti. Mario was a cherished father-in-law to Victoria and a proud grandfather to Roman and Giovanna. His unwavering love for his family and enduring kindness left a lasting impression on all who knew him.

The family kindly requests that guests wear pastel-colored attire to reflect the warmth, joy, and vibrant spirit Mario brought to those around him. In lieu of flowers, to honor Mario's memory, the family kindly invites donations to the following organizations whose missions reflect the compassion and care he valued deeply: Port in the Storm Homeless Youth Center and St. Augustine Youth Services.
