Majorie (Marge) Thomison, age 96, went to be with the Lord early Tuesday morning.  She will be remembered for her great love of the Lord, love of life, family and friends, her golfing and her bridge playing.

She began her life in St. Paul, MN, where she graduated from high school and met Herbert Richard Brown on a blind date on a sleigh ride. They got married and she followed him to VA where he was in the Navy during WWII.  They lived in VA, St. Paul, MN, So. Miami, FL, Vienna, VA, and Melbourne, FL, where Dick and Marge both worked at Patrick AFB and Cape Canaveral. They retired to a golf community in Winter Haven, FL, and summered in the NC mountains.  They enjoyed travel, golf, square dancing, playing bridge and fellowship with their many friends.

Dick died after 61 years of marriage, and Marge invited Locke Thomison, a wonderful new love into her life.  They were married and lived in Atlanta, GA.

She will be missed by her children, JoAnne Brown Milliken and husband John, Michael Brown and wife Valerie, and Rita Brown Adams (husband, Steve Adams (deceased)), Kathleen Thomison Kimsey and husband Ray, and Greer Thomison.  She was well loved by grandchildren: Dennis LeFever, David LeFever, Steve Adams, Robert Brown, Scott Adams, Sean Adams, Janet McDowell, Denise Silverman (deceased), Anna Edwards, and Greer Kimsey.  She leaves behind great grandchildren: Tyler LeFever, Elizabeth LeFever, Kira McDowell, Joshua LeFever, Jarrett McDowell, Sydney Adams, Wyatt LeFever, Declan LeFever and Jasmine Brown.

A Memorial Mass will be held at St. John Paul II Mission Catholic Church on Friday, February 23, 2018 at 10 am  followed by a reception in the Artisan Villages Clubhouse. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to the children’s hospital at stjude.org.
