A note from her daughter, Katie...
To my favorite person in the world;
A beautiful soul and a kind heart;
A wise mind with a courageous fire inside to stand up for what she believes;
My best friend and ultimate shopping companion of all the "cute" shops of the world;
My listener, who always made me feel better for simply knowing it's ok to not be ok all the time;
A healer of wounds and broken hearts;
My personal nurse and a nurse to so many other lucky souls, always making sure everyone is taken care of and comfortable;
A beautiful voice, humming and singing her way through the day;
To my biggest fan and my guardian angel, I love you forever and always.
And though my heart feels like it's been twisted and torn, I'll carry you with me so that just maybe it will mend even stronger and kinder and hold even more empathy and generosity for the world than ever before.
