Mike Samilian, of Ponte Vedra, Florida, formerly of Tampa, Florida, went into the loving arms of Jesus Christ on November 25, 2025. Mike was born on September 6, 1948 in Beirut, Lebanon to Nazareth and Haigazohie Samilian. The oldest of three brothers, Mike moved to Gainesville, Florida to continue his education and married his wife of fifty-two years, Nicky in 1973. The Tampa area was then home to Mike for over four decades where he actively raised his family, cared for extended family, and faithfully served at the Speedling Corporation for forty years.

Mike was a sports fan and world traveler, enjoying history and culture, and sharing new experiences with family and friends. More than anything he deeply loved spending time with his family and was a friend to many. He loved bringing others food and thoughtful gifts and was known to anyone who knew him as generous, honorable, and dependable. Mike was an extremely devoted husband, brother, father, and grandfather who cherished spending time with his children and grandchildren and being involved in their everyday life, never missing an opportunity to support them in any way possible.

In latter years upon moving to the Jacksonville area, Mike became a faithful member of Family Bible Church and served in many ministry areas and was loved by his church family. His faith in God was solidified with a genuine faith in the Lord Jesus Christ for salvation, including a public baptism in 2021. He continued to grow in grace, humility, and love, serving God and others around him until his very last day on earth.

Mike is predeceased by his parents Nazareth and Haigazohie Samilian and brother Tony Samilian. Mike is survived by and will be forever remembered and loved by his wife Nicky Samilian, brother John Samilian (partner Heidi Sage), son Brian Samilian (wife Katie), daughter Lindsey Weissmueller (husband Zach), and his adoring grandchildren Olivia, Charlotte, and Rachel Samilian; and Sail, Max, and Rosie Weissmueller.

“For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with Him those who have fallen asleep in Jesus.” 1 Thessalonians 4:14

Mike will be honored at a memorial service at Family Bible Church at 4760 Palm Valley Road, Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida at 1:00 on Sunday, November 30, 2025, followed by a graveside service at Ponte Vedra Valley, 4750 Palm Valley Road, Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida.

The family asks that flowers not be sent to the service but cards of encouragement and reflection be sent to Mike’s widow, Nicky Samilian. Thank you for your love and support.
