Mona Roberts Balding, 79 ,of Jacksonville, FL, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday April 3, 2022, surrounded by her loving family and friends. She was born November 21, 1942, in Monroe, Michigan to the late Millie Lintz. Mona is survived by her daughters, Roxanne Collins and Lynette Benoit; sons, Danny and Scott Roberts; brothers, Clyde and Eugene Lintz. She is preceded in death by her husband, Darell Balding; her son, Randy Roberts; her sister, Darlene White; her brothers, Harold Lintz and James Adkins.
Mona was the loving mother of 5 children, 12 grandchildren, and 9 great grandchildren. Her love for her family was a large part of her life. Mona had a sincere love for Christmas in keeping traditions alive with all her family. She was a woman of many talents and will always be remembered for her amazing cooking, prepared with so much love. She enjoyed traveling with her husband, Darell, and most nights you would find her at the bowling alley with her league.
Services for Mona will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, April 9, at Ponte Vedra Valley Funeral Home, 4750 Palm Valley Rd, Ponte Vedra Beach, FL 32082. A reception to follow from 12pm- 2pm at the service site. In leu of flowers, donations to Community Hospice are appreciated.
