Nancy Paleka, 49, of Ponte Vedra, Florida passed away Saturday, October 29, 2022.
Nancy was born in California, the eldest daughter of the late Božo Paleka and Andjelka Paleka of Croatia. She grew up in both Campbell, California and later in Chesterfield, Missouri. As an honours student, she attended the University of Southern California in Los Angeles, where she studied international relations, languages, and finance. Nancy completed her master’s degree at Thunderbird School of Global Management, Arizona, as well as studying in Spain and Switzerland. Later, she worked in various roles for both Citibank and Ford Motor Company.
Nancy was an exemplary daughter, supportive sister, and considerate friend. Besides spending time with friends and family, Nancy loved to travel. She spoke many languages fluently and loved Hawaii above all.
Her twelve-year battle with cancer was bravely fought, but eventually, she could fight no more. Nancy is survived by her mother, Andjelka, and her sister, Barbara, and niece, Cecily, of London, England.
The family will hold a memorial service on the 18th of November 2022 at Ponte Vedra Valley Funeral Home, Florida at 10:00 AM. Prayers for Nancy will be welcome.
