Norma Jean Abbosh, 90, passed away peacefully on August 4, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jules Abbosh; her son, Robert Allen Abbosh (Michelle); her infant son, Dean; and her parents, Anton and Doris Mlasko.

She is survived by her devoted sons, Jules (Tracy) and Darwin (Dr. David Newnham); her grandchildren, Andrea Nafey (Andy Hall), Jules Abbosh (Gabby), and Gabrielle; and her great-grandchildren, Sienna and Sofia Nafey, Eli and Norah Abbosh, and Macie Hall.

Affectionately known as "Big G," Norma was deeply loved by her family. Born in Ironwood, Michigan, she later made her home in Florida, where she dedicated more than 30 years to volunteering with Hospice. A true matriarch, she found joy in painting, cooking, and sharing those gifts with her family.

A private service will be held. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests contributions be made to Hospice in her memory.
