Oswald C. Francis, 66, joined his savior, Jesus, in heaven on Thursday, September 13, 2018.  He was born on June 6, 1952 in Jamaica, West Indies. 

Oswald served in the Jamaican Army for seven years.  He was a member of Chets Creek Church.

Oswald is survived by his wife of 17 years, Yvonne; sons and daughters, Sheldon Francis, Denise Francis, Sadeki Francis, Kaunda Francis, Ansia Francis and Kedeem Francis; two step children, Shani and Ruark; and five grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 22, 2018, 11:00 am at Chets Creek Church, 4420 Hodges Blvd., Jacksonville, FL 32224 with burial to follow at Ponte Vedra Valley, 4750 Palm Valley Road, Ponte Vedra Beach, FL 32082.  The family will receive friends prior to the service on Saturday at Chets Creek Church from 10:00 to 10:45.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the building fund, Chets Creek at Nocatee.
