Pamela “Pam” Ellis Coulter, 73, a resident of Jacksonville for 39 years, formerly of Orono, Maine, passed peacefully September 1, 2021. She was born September 26, 1947 in Bangor, Maine, to Donald and Bertha Ellis, now deceased.
Pamela married her sweetheart, David Coulter, on July 9, 1975. She worked over 35 years in the shoe department at JC Penney, then transferred to dresses before she retired. She loved crocheting, knitting and had a knack for making doilies. Every Sunday you could find her watching football along side her husband. They raised many spoiled pets, Charles, Nicky and currently Sophie. Pamela enjoyed lunch dates with her friends and spending time with family when possible.
She is survived by her mother-in-law, M. Lorraine Coulter of Kittery, Maine; loving step-children, Marcia Brown and her husband, Mitchell, of Belfast, Maine, Mary-Ann Maldonado and her husband, Randy Maldonado, of Methuen, Massachusetts; her granddaughters, Felicia Sturges and Katie Ames; grandson, Roman Maldonado; great-granddaughter, Freya Ames; sisters-in-law, Ellen McClure, of Kittery, Maine, Sally Morrill and Michael “Terry” DePriest of Ponte Vedra, Florida. She had many nieces, nephews and cousins. Pamela was preceded in death by father-in-law, Maxwell Coulter.
