Patricia A. (Joyce) Davis
It is with deep love and sadness that we announce the passing of Patricia A. (Joyce) Davis, affectionately known to family and friends as “Tish,” on August 7, 2025 at the age of 76. Tish lived a life defined by faith, kindness, generosity, and an absolute steadfast dedication to her family and loved ones.
Tish is survived by her devoted husband, Thomas Joseph (Tom) Davis of Ponte Vedra Beach, FL, daughter, Kelly Ann Davis of Ponte Vedra Beach, FL, son, Brian Thomas Davis and his wife, Caroline Shepherd Davis of Atlantic Beach, FL, and her two grandsons, Thomas Shepherd Davis and Tate James Davis. She is also survived by two brothers, Gerard Joyce of LaPlume, PA and Parnell Joyce of Wellington, FL, along with her nieces, nephews, and their families. She was preceded in death by her cherished mother, Anna Mae (Lydon) Joyce.
Born on December 12, 1948, in Scranton, Pennsylvania Tish graduated from Cathedral High School. In Scranton is where she met her beloved husband Tom. There, nearly 55 years ago this month, they married on August 22, 1970. Their early married life brought them to Binghamton, New York where they raised their family and rooted themselves in the community.
Raising her children was always her priority and greatest joy. Tish loved nothing more than to cheer on her children, from the sidelines of every possible sport to the encouragement she offered through every milestone in their adult life. In recent years, she found that same joy supporting her grandsons, Shepherd and Tate, whose faces would light up when “Tich” arrived.
Tish also dedicated her time to numerous causes in the community over the years. She found lifetime friends, who became like family. Those who were friends to Tish knew that they were loved and she took pleasure in finding ways to show that love. She was a truly special person who touched countless lives and she will be missed immensely.
A funeral mass will be held on Thursday, August 14, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church, 545 A1A N, Ponte Vedra Beach, FL.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research in Tish’s memory.
