Patricia Goodall, 61, born on April 27, 1958, was called to God on March 1st, 2020, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Cleveland, OH, and moved to Pennsylvania in 1963, attending St Monica’s for grade school, Tredyffrin Easttown for middle school, and Conestoga for high school. Patricia received her Bachelor’s in Food Service Nutrition Management from Drexel University in 1981, and her Master’s in Organizational Leadership from Cabrini University in 2011.
After graduating from Drexel University, Patricia worked at Fox Chase Cancer Center, providing nutritional services to the scientists helping to cure cancer, and patients. She provided the upmost charismatic and superb leadership within her work. Patricia worked tirelessly for over twenty-five years, while influencing and impacting everyone that she worked with.
She was known for being selfless, nonjudgmental, caring, and unconditional. Patricia was a loving wife, mother, daughter, and grandmother. She was the world. Patricia was a pillar of support for everyone she met and welcomed many friends into her family as if they were her own. To her husband, Patricia was his rock and foundation, and made him the man he is today. To her children, she was the best friend and mom any kid could ask for, always being there for them no matter the circumstance. To her mother she was her closest friend, always making sure to call her every night for their nightly phone calls. Patricia was an excellent cook, dedicated gardener, and perfect role model for parenting, grand parenting, unconditional love, and inner strength.
Patricia had an unwavering faith in God. She attended Church every weekend at St. Isaac Jogues Parish in Wayne. She was also an active member of the Our Lady Star of The Sea Catholic Church Bible Study, where she met many friends to support her during her illness and practiced her love of God. Patricia was an activist for Women’s Rights as one of the first women to be in the Women’s Organization Club at Conestoga High School. She loved classic rock, strawberry custard, and mystery novels.
Patricia was completely selfless, she put others first no matter how hard she was struggling. She was the strongest woman we know, and would love for us to remember her as the fun loving, patient, and caring woman we always knew her as. “We never know how strong we are, until being strong is the only choice we have.”
A Funeral Mass will be held Monday, March 9, 2020, 11 am at Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church, 545 A1A North, Ponte Vedra Beach, FL, 32082. Inurnment will follow at Ponte Vedra Valley.
