Patricia Denise Blankenbaker (Winkie), passed away peacefully May 8, 2018.  She was surrounded by her loving family and her husband, Myron Blankenbaker.  Patricia was born August 22, 1957 in Mooresville, IN.  She and her husband relocated to Jacksonville from Indianapolis, IN, in 1988, and resided in Atlantic Beach.  Patricia was a 28 year employee of Mayo Clinic at the Jacksonville campus.  She was proud of her medical career, and her contributions to the growth of Mayo’s Southeast facility.  Patricia was known for her unique sense of humor, her decorating talents, passion for Christmas, and her love of animals.  She is survived by her husband, her two sisters, Penny Hornaday and Phyllis Martfeld.  The visitation will be Tuesday May 15, 2018 from 6:00-8:00 pm, followed by a Celebration of her Life service Wednesday, May 16, 11:00 am, at the Ponte Vedra Valley Funeral Home, 4750 Palm Valley Rd, Ponte Vedra Beach, FL, 32082.  Should you choose, contributions can be made to the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA) or the Humane Society.  Please sign the online guestbook at www.pontevedravalley.com
