They later moved to Riverview, Michigan, where she was very supportive of the athletic teams and events her children participated in, working the concession stands, and preparing and serving lunches for the Riverview H.S. football teams during two a day practice sessions.  Peggy enjoyed golf, where she was a member of Grosse Ile Golf and Country Club.  Peggy was an avid sports fan of the Jacksonville Jaguars, Detroit Lions, University of Michigan and Michigan State football teams.

Peggy has five grandchildren, Alex, Phillip Jr. (PJ), Christopher, Cindy, and Val DePaoli (Mark), and three great grandchildren, Carly Caruso, Camryn Caruso, and Marco Depaoli.  She is the mother-in-law to Debra Caruso (Phillip) and Lynne Caruso (Mark).  Peggy is the sister- in- law to Bruno and Sylvia Caruso (Trenton, MI) and Michael and Carolyn Cicci (West Palm Beach, FL). She is also the aunt to John Caruso (Aurora, OH), Michael Cicci (Margate, FL) Melissa Alford (Baton Rouge, LA).   Peggy was preceded in death by her husband, Phil, of 40 years; Joe Brown (father), Minnie Brown (mother), brothers, Gene and Jay Brown, sister, Marietta Wickline, and Cindy Caruso (O’Hare), niece.
