Rene Hernandez, born July 8, 1952, graduated to Heaven on January 5, 2020.  He is survived by his loving wife, Corazon; sons, Michael Anthony and Rene Jr.; grandchildren, Emily Josephine, Megan Taylor, Daniel Riley, Ethan Joseph, Jenna Elizabeth, and Georgia Michelle.  Rene “Pop” always said there was two ways of getting things done, the wrong way and my way.  He asked that you not mourn his death but celebrate his life.  Remember the good times, share your stories, and remember him for who he was, tough yet fair and an acquired taste to all those that he loved and loved him.  A visitation will be held on Friday, January 10, 2020 from 5 to 7 pm at Ponte Vedra Valley.  A Funeral Service will be held the following day, Saturday, January 11 at 1:00 pm at Ponte Vedra Valley, with military honors.  SEMPER FI.
