Richard Mowles of Jacksonville, Florida, passed away in the morning of Monday, May 24, 2021, at his home in Jacksonville. Richard fought a hard battle of cancer to the end. Richard leaves behind his beloved wife, Brendi; and two children, John Campbell, Kaylee Mowles; daughter-in-law, Stefanie Campbell; granddaughter, Kinsley Campbell; parents, James and Carol Mowles; brother, Chris Mowles; and many other family members who loved him so much.
Richard was born April 13, 1970, in Austell, GA. Richard was a devoted family man and a wonderful, loving husband, and father, and papa. His family meant everything to him. Richard also loved large family get together and was beloved not only by his immediate family, but also by a large extended family of aunts, uncles, cousins, in laws, and friends.
He was a highly intelligent man with a broad range of interests and enjoyed all things Disney. He loved to cook, loved to watch history shows and college football. He was very proud to be able to share his love of history with his daughter Kaylee. Cooking was always a passion for Richards; he loved creating delicious, unique meals of all types of cuisines for his family. He was a chef at heart. He was known for his tremendous work ethic, dedication, and as a man of utmost integrity.
A listening ear, Richard was always ready to pick up the phone and enjoy a conversation with family or friends. Everyone who knew him, knew they could call him at a moment’s notice, and he’d be there. He loved deeply and desired the best for the people near him. He is loved and will be grievously missed by his immediate and extended family.
