Rita G. Stern, lately of Jesup, GA, passed away September 10, 2026. Mother of Linda M. Stern Orgain, Janet L. Stern (Herman), and Dr. Gary R. (Lisa) Stern. Beloved grandmother of Seth D.H. (Amy) Orgain, Alanna B. Herman, Rachel S. Herman, Alexis K. Stern, and Alyssa C. Stern. Great-grandmother of Nicolette M. Orgain, Noe C. Orgain, Isla Quinn Orgain, and Malayna S. Small. Funeral services will held at Temple Beth El, Ponte Vedra, FL, with burial at Ponte Vedra Valley. Rita was a retiree of the U.S. State Department. In addition, she was a life member of Hadassah, which supports medical innovations in Israel. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Hadassah.
