We rejoice in the fact that our beloved Bobby is, at this very moment, regaling everyone in Heaven with his hilarious tall tales and radiant smile. Although these joyful gifts had been hidden away in recent years due to a battle with dementia, we are steadfast in our belief that these gifts have now been fully restored. Robert ‘Bobby’ Edward Croteau, 71, passed on January 10, 2018. He was born on March 2, 1946, in Manchester, NH, to Lucien and Gertrude Croteau. He was a graduate of Southern New Hampshire University and proceeded to have a long-term career in Human Resources with various companies including Nationwide Insurance, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Florida, and CDI Engineering. He also served as a 2nd Lieutenant in the National Guard and Army Reserves. He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Claudette Dupont Croteau; his special needs daughter, Jennifer Croteau, and his daughter, Sarah Thompson (Keith); two beautiful granddaughters, McKenzie and Sophie Thompson; mother, Gertrude Croteau; siblings, Lorraine Forest (Robert) and Dennis Croteau (Debbie); several loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and many close friends. The family will be receiving friends on Saturday, January 13, between 11:30 am and 1:30 pm at Ponte Vedra Valley Chapel. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Pine Castle Inc. (www.pinecastle.org), the wonderful caretakers of Jennifer for many years.
