Robert Eugene Bramblett, 86, of Ponte Vedra, Florida, peacefully passed away on August 27, 2019.

Robert is survived by his wife of 59 years, Bobbie; their two daughters: Christy Slater (Bramblett) and her two children, Brooks Slater and Amanda Slater, and Susan Lange (Bramblett), her husband, Jeffrey, and their daughter, Sienna.

He is also survived by his sister-in-law, Barbara Bramblett; nieces, Sandy Wilborne (Bramblett), her husband, Jack; Lesley Keener (Bramblett) her husband, Dan, and their daughter, McKinley; and Holly Doyal (Bramblett) her husband, Jay and their sons, Connor, Michael, and Patrick.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Hewlett Bramblett and Alice Lee McKinley of Macon, Georgia, and his brother, Lamar, of Oak Ridge, N.C.

Robert’s hobbies included growing orchids and playing tennis.

He was a veteran who served in the Army during the Korean War.  After his discharge from the Army, he graduated from The University of Georgia, where he received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. 

He retired from Civil Service at Patrick Air Force Base where he was the Chief of Classification

Robert was a wonderful family man, a loving husband, an adoring father to his daughters, and a devoted grandfather to his grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on September 7, 2019 in the sanctuary of Christ Episcopal Church, Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida.
