Roberto Ruiz of Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida, passed away on May 2, 2023, after a short battle with stomach cancer.

Roberto (“Ro” as he was lovingly known) is survived by his adored wife, Sharon, and cherished daughters, Juliana and Gabriela. He was preceded in death by his father, Roberto Ruiz. He is also survived by his mother, Gloria Ruiz Donate; sisters, Gloria Ruiz-Ramirez, Lourdes Badiee and twin sister, Techi Lugo Ruiz; beloved brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; many nieces and nephews; and so many dear friends.

For those who were lucky enough to know him, Ro was a special and caring friend and he embraced everyone with kindness, love and his generous heart - a true gentleman. He had a zest for life, loved traveling, cycling, dining and dancing, but most of all he loved his family and leaves a huge hole in our hearts.  

A service is planned for Thursday, May 4, 2023, 1 pm, at  Beth El The Beaches Synagogue, 288 Roscoe Blvd. N., Ponte Vedra Beach.
