RUFFO Please Sign the Guestbook @ Jacksonville.com Rocco Carmelo Ruffo, 74, born in San Antonio, Texas, on November 9, 1939 to Carmelo and Maria Ruffo, passed away June 24, 2014 surrounded by his family. Rocco was preceded in death by his mother, father, brother (Edward), and two grandsons, Jeremy Smith and FF/EMT Ryan Reed. He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Gaile Ruffo; daughters, Linda Reed (Steven) and Connie Smith (Leon); grandson, Joshua Smith M.D. (Amanda); granddaughter, Katey Wert; brother, Chris Ruffo (Mary); sister, Margaret Hernandez (Richard); godsons, Luke and John Paul Galen; and several nieces and nephews. A wake will be held at Ponte Vedra Valley on Thursday, June 26 from 5:30 to 7:30 PM with Rosary at 7:00 PM. The funeral service will be held on Friday, June 27 at 10:00 AM at Our Lady Star of The Sea in Ponte Vedra Beach with reception following at Ponte Vedra Valley after interment.
