JOHNSON Ronald Robert Johnson passed away peacefully at home on December 3, 2014. He was born in Philadelphia, PA, in 1948. The majority of his life was spent in Jacksonville, where he attended Robert E. Lee High School. Ronald worked for nearly 30 years for the City of Jacksonville as a surveyor and in the Department of Public Works and contributed to FEMA projects. He also was involved in Habitat for Humanity Jacksonville. Ronald had a huge personality and loved cars, computers and cooking on the grill. Ronald is survived by his wife, Patricia; sister, Karen; brother-in-law, Norman Connell; sisters-in-law Marion (Burt) Thompson and Anne Morris; cousins, Nick, Cynthia, Debbie and Jeff; nieces, Misty, Kim and Lauren; nephews, Jason, Jeremy, Michael, David and Brian. He was preceded in death by his mother and father Violet and Ronald Johnson. A memorial service will be held at Ponte Vedra Valley on Tuesday, December 9th, at 11 A.M.
