Rozella Beckmeyer, beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away at 83.
Rozella (Weise) Beckmeyer or “Roz” as a lot of people knew her, a longtime resident of Jacksonville, Florida, and most recently Haymarket, Virginia, passed away on June 21, 2025 at the age of 83. She was born on July 6, 1941 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to Karl and Jane Weise.
Rozella is survived by her loving son, Robert Beckmeyer; daughters-in-law, April Beckmeyer and Amy Schell; her cherished grandchildren, all of whom she was most proud, Mason, Taylor, Cammi, Emmy, Kyle, and Lexi Beckmeyer; and her sister-in-law, Billie Dee Weise. She was preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, Jerry Beckmeyer; her son, Jerry Beckmeyer, Jr; and her brother, Karl “uncle butch” Weise. Throughout her life, Rozella found great joy in spending time with her loved ones.
Funeral services honoring Rozella's life will be held at Ponte Vedra Valley Cemetery on June 27th at 10 AM. Ponte Vedra Valley Cemetery is located at 4750 Palm Valley Road, Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida.
Rozella was a beloved figure known for her kindness, generosity, and devotion to her family. She will be deeply missed by all whose lives she touched.
