Shirley Gloria Christ, 93, of Ponte Vedra Beach, FL, entered into eternal rest on Monday, April 18, 2022 at her home. She was born on January 24, 1929, in Detroit, Michigan. Shirley and her loving husband, Don, relocated to Florida in 1989. She was an administrative assistant with Ford Motor Company and a local tv station, before retiring and enjoying exciting travel escapades with her husband. Shirley will always be remembered with love, and the love that she had for Jesus. From one of her inspirational writings “…walking together in the glorious sunset, this than will be my last journey… the beginning of an adventurous new life with Him for eternity”
Shirley was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Christ; her daughter, Sharon and Jerry Fullerton; her parents, Joseph and Mary Kopernick; sister and brother-in-law, Elaine and Leonard Cybul.
Shirley is survived by her daughters, Debra Lindahl and Laurie Norberry; her step-children, Cheryl Lico, Ken and Kathy Christ; grandchildren, Dan and Mary Lindahl, Carrie Koss, Jason Koss, Rob and Amy Lindahl, Mark Norberry, Tom and Lisa Christ, Megan and Scott Eastman, Emilie Lico, Brandon Lico, Kelly Albany, and Averie Lico; great-grandchildren, Riley Lindahl, Trent Lindahl, Cassidy Christ, and Dorothie Lico.
Services will be held at Ponte Vedra Valley Cemetery on Saturday, April 23, 2022 at 10:00 AM, 4750 Palm Valley Road, Ponte Vedra Beach, FL 32082.
Shirley will be dearly missed. Our hearts, spirits, and souls will always touch. Until we meet again.
