Steven George Sachs, born in Athens, Greece, on September 24, 1943, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Sunday, July 30, 2023, in Saint Augustine, Florida.

He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Dr. Herman F. Sachs & Julia Friedberg, along with his stepfather, Solomon Friedberg. Steven is survived by his beloved wife of 58 years, Dorothy "Dotty" Sachs, his beloved son, Steven; daughter-in-law, Susan; and his granddaughter, Murphy (as well as many other, nieces, nephews and family members).

Steve was a life long resident of Long Island, New York, after moving from Greece to the United States as a young child. He later moved to sunny Florida, in the fall of 2021, to live out his retirement years with his high school sweetheart, his wife, Dotty.

Along with Steve's love for Hot Rods, whether buying them to restore with his son, Steven or going to car shows, he was an avid bowler and loved fishing any chance he could. He will be greatly missed by his true family and friends.
