Taylor James Fries, 31, went to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Friday, January 1, 2021. He was born on February 28, 1989 in Boca Raton, FL, to Tim and Tracy Fries. He grew up in Jacksonville, FL, and graduated from Mandarin High School. Taylor was recently attending FSCJ pursuing a degree in IT where he held a 3.5 GPA and was encouraged by his professors that he could be very successful in the field. He had a strong love for his family and was the most dedicated uncle to four nieces and nephews. He spent his free time attending the sporting events of his niece and nephews and spending time with family. He always made himself available to lend a helping hand to both his parents and siblings.  Taylor loved animals, football- especially the Miami Dolphins, and spent time completing puzzles with his grandmother. He grew up fishing and wake boarding and was teaching his niece and nephews the love of those two favorite hobbies. We will miss Taylor’s gentle smile which lit up a room and always radiated genuine love.

Taylor is survived by his mother, Tracy Fries (Don Drapeau), his father, Tim Fries; his grandmother, Betty Kitchen, his sister, Tara (Garrison) Sanborn; his brother, Troy (Ashley) Fries; and his niece and nephews, Troy Fries Jr., Julianne Sanborn, Jameson Sanborn, & Jude Sanborn.

Due to the pandemic, a private, invitation only, ceremony will be held for close friends and family on Monday, January 11, at Ponte Vedra Valley funeral home.

Since the service will be private, the family kindly requests that you send your support and condolences by making a donation to the Jacksonville Humane Society, to honor Taylor's love of animals.
