Thomas Edward Howard, "Tim", 85, was born June 8, 1940, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to Mary Howard Kuhn and Gorman Harry Howard. He was raised by his loving Step-Father, John Kuhn, "Sarge".  Tim passed away September 2, 2025, in Jacksonville, Florida, following a battle with lung cancer. He was a real trooper over the past year and kept a positive attitude with a heart full of love and appreciation until the very end.  

Tim is survived by his devoted wife of 32 years, Mimi (Bryant) Howard; daughter, Kim Black (Howard) and son-in-law, Ed Black; son, Tom Day and daughter-in-law, Amber; son, Scott Flowers; son, Wesley Stapp and daughter-in law, Gina; daughter, Kellie Andrews (Stapp) and son-in-law, Paul Andrews; grandchildren, Heather Black, Halie Black, Coleman Andrews, Caleb Morton, Carson Kelloway, Chloe Andrews and Cullen Stapp; sister, Kathy Kuhn Kiesel and nephew, Billy Kiesel (Priane); brother, Shawn Kuhn (Katie) and nephews, AJ Kuhn (Alyssa) and Michael Kuhn (Gia); and niece, Chris Howard. He was preceded in death by his brother, Terry Howard.

Tim proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy.  He was part-owner of a company in the municipal water industry supplying electronic controls for underground water management systems. He worked closely with many state, county, and municipal governments all across the country.  

Tim was a loving Husband, Father and Grandfather. He often scheduled his time around activities involving the grandchildren. He was a "super-fan" of football, especially college football.  

Tim will be remembered at a Visitation Gathering, Friday, September 19, 6:00 - 8:00 pm, at Ponte Vedra Valley Funeral Home, 4750 Palm Valley Road, Ponte Vedra, Florida 32082. The following day he will be honored at a Memorial Service at 11:00 am, Ponte Vedra Church, 76 Roscoe Road, Ponte Vedra, Fl 32082.
