On Saturday, September 2, 2023, Tracey Vandroff, age 62, passed away peacefully at her home in Jacksonville, Florida.

Born Tracey Elizabeth Lane on May 15, 1961, in Denver, Colorado, she was raised in Jacksonville, where she graduated from Wolfson High School. While in school, she met David Vandroff and the two began dating, attending Senior Prom together in matching yellow outfits. Tracey and David attended the University of Florida together after high school, graduating in 1983. One year after graduating from Florida, the two were married and went on to share 39 wonderful years as husband and wife.

Following their time in Gainesville, Tracey and David moved back to Jacksonville, where she worked as a Certified Public Accountant. When her first daughter, Emily was born, Tracey left her role as a CPA to focus on raising a family. Two years after having Emily, Tracey and David welcomed their second daughter, Sydney, into the world.

Tracey was passionate about her family, art, and loved animals – especially the family pets (Bagel, Maxx, Rae and Rex). She was partial to a glass of Chardonnay and was well-known to her friends for her vivacious attitude, as well as her unflinching honesty.

Tracey is survived by her husband, David, and her two daughters, Emily (Charlie) and Sydney. The family will hold a Celebration of Life for Tracey in the near future, with details to be shared at a later date.

The family welcomes donations in honor of Tracey to Baptist MD Anderson Cancer Center or the Jewish Community Alliance in lieu of flowers.
