Usha Kharbanda Arora, 64, of Jacksonville, Florida, passed away June 16, 2026. She was born July 1, 1961 in Jalandhar, Punjab, India to the Late Amarnath Kharbanda and the Late Swaran Kanta. Usha graduated from BJB College and Utkal University in Bhubaneswar, Orissa, where she earned a Masters degree in Education. She immigrated from India in 1984 to Virginia Beach, VA and then moved to Miami, FL in 1986, where she attended Miami Dade College for nursing school. Usha then moved to New Brunswick, NJ in 1996 before finally settling down in Jacksonville, FL in 2001.

She dedicated many years of her life to caring for others as a Registered Nurse. Usha was well respected and beloved in the Indian community of Jacksonville. She was a devoted member of the Hindu Temple, Gurudwara and Guruji Ka Parivar. She was a founding member of Jacksonville’s Mata ka Darbaar and the Sikh Society of North East Florida in 2004. She will always be remembered for her wonderful voice as she sang bhajans and shabads.

In her free time, she enjoyed watching both Hindi and English movies with her friends and family. She was a loving mother to her daughter and devoted wife to the late Dr. Pradeep Arora.
