Valerie Antonica Belzeski, age 31, passed away on August 18, 2022, in Seattle, Washington.  She was a native of Jacksonville, Florida, where she was born on October 10, 1990.  Valerie was a talented artist graduating from Douglas Anderson School of the arts and the University of North Florida.  After graduating from UNF, she traveled to various states to study art.  Valerie was accepted at the prestigious Tamarind Institute at the University of New Mexico, Albuquerque where she pursued advanced training in her favorite medium, lithography.  Valerie taught screen printing at University of Illinois, Carbondale, where she was pursuing a master’s degree.   Valerie was planning to continue that endeavor upon returning to Jacksonville.

Valerie is survived by her parents, Toby and Sophia; and her brother, Daniel.   Funeral services will be held at Ponte Vedra Valley Cemetery in Ponte Vedra Beach where her remains will be interred with her maternal grandparents, Pete and Amalia Christos.  Valerie went to grade school and middle school in Ponte Vedra Beach where she lived at that time.

Valerie was well loved by family and friends.  She was caring, giving, and loving, and her love was unconditional.  Her ebullient personality endeared her to everyone, and she will be truly missed by friends and family.
