Vasil Kovllari, 74, passed away Wednesday, January 15, 2025, in Jacksonville, FL. He was born on November 12, 1950, in Sovjan, Albania. Vasil married his beloved wife of 50 years, Thomaidha Kovllari in 1974. For his career, he was a welder for many years until he moved to Florida in 2011. He then started his position at Deerwood Country Club for the last 13 years, which he loved.  In his spare time, Vasil enjoyed spending time with family; walking his dog, Maxi; watching his grandchildren; and hunting. 

Vasil is survived by his wife, Thomaidha Kovllari; 2 sons, Lorenc (Jill) Kovllari, Jacksonville, FL; Alki (Dorina) Kovllari, Jacksonville, FL; 2 grandsons, Christian (12) and Leo (3); 2 granddaughters, Amelia (8) and Ivy (10 months). They loved playing with their “Gjyshi.” Vasil’s funeral service will take place at 11:30 am on Thursday, January 23, 2025 at Ponte Vedra Valley Funeral Home and Cemetery, with burial immediately following.
